Our Facilities

MD Clinical is a private, PI owned and operated clinical trials site conveniently located in a Luxury A, medical building in Hallandale Beach, FL that provides inpatient and outpatient care. This location serves the Miami-Dade and Broward counties in South Florida. We specialize in trials of new medications or new usage indications in neurological or psychiatric disorders, ranging from Phase 1-4. The principal investigators Drs. Wilks and Safirstein have successfully conducted over 300+ clinical research trials. The site is especially renowned for its extensive experience and expeditious recruitment in trials for Phase 1 healthy subjects, Phase 1 disease specific, Primary Insomnia, Restless Leg Syndrome, Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, Migraine, Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, and Painful Neuropathy. The office has a complete, professional, full time certified study staff, experienced in pharmacology and toxicology studies. Our site has patient waiting areas, patient exam rooms, medical laboratory, secure drug room, a fully equipped sleep Research lab with polysomnography (PSG) capabilities, monitoring areas, conference room, and secure patient records storage. All areas have phone and internet access.

	Comfortable Patient Reception and Treatment Areas At MD Clinical, patients are our first concern. Our facility has comfortable patient waiting areas and exam rooms were we practice strict HIPPA and PHI policies to protect our study patients' privacy
	On-site Validated and Certified Sleep Laboratory Our site has 11 Phase 1 inpatient bed capabilities and a fully equipped sleep research lab with polysomnography (PSG) capabilities. Eight (8) of the 11 phas 1 beds are equipped with digital Grass Telefactor PSG systems. We have Universal certification by Clinilabs and Henry Ford central readers. All inpatient beds are used solely for clinical research and are equipped for 24-hr. monitoring. Our patients have a dayroom recreational area, full bathroom with shower, and inpatient food service. The staff has specialty training in CNS for psychological testing, computer battery, and driving simulator programs. More specific information is available upon request.
	Secure study drug storage, temperature and humidity controlled Our drug room has fingerprint security access only and is climate controlled and monitored with daily temperature and humidity logs.
	On-site Laboratory Our site utilizes Central IRB's and laboratories. We can also utilize our local laboratory for vitals, blood draws and lab kit storage, as well as for stat blood results. We have laboratory refrigerators, freezers, both -20 and -70 that are monitored daily with temperature log collection.
	Comfortable monitor rooms The organization has 5 comfortable, dedicated monitor rooms equipped with dsl lines, phone ports, and photocopy machines. We also have onsite storage for study records retention at study close out.
